Nude lips have taken the make up world by storm and like the classic red lip this trend is not going anywhere anytime soon. I’ve been the hunt for the perfect nude lipsticks at the drugstore and came across some little gems! Most of these are under a fiver and can easily rival some high end brands.
Starting off with my favourite of the bunch is the Sleek Matte Me Lip Cream in Birthday Suit. This is amazing! It lasts all day, with eating and drinking and the perfect pink/brown nude. It is a little drying as it’s a liquid lipstick but you’ll never regret purchasing this, its my go to lip! This is available from Superdrug for £4.99.
Next up is Cool Nude from Essence. I don’t see too many cool toned nudes especially at the drugstore so this is a little gem. It’s a pink toned nude and has amazing pigmentation. It has a glossy finish but very long lasting and at only £2.30, can’t go wrong can you? Essence is available from Wilko stores.
Now is another Essence lipstick but this time warm toned and a lot more pink, the sort of your lips but better lipstick. Again just like the one before,glossy finish and long lasting for the same price, so cheap its definitely worth trying.
Now it wouldn’t be a drugstore post without mentioning Makeup Revolution! This gorgeous lipstick is Absolutely Flawless from their pro range for just £2.49. I’d say this perfect for the Kylie Jenner lip, the colour is amazing! The formula is incredible and has a glossy finish.
Last up is the NYX soft matte lip cream in Stockholm. I’ve never come across a formula like this, smells amazing and feels so light and fluffy on the lips! It’s like you’re not wearing anything. It’s matte but doesn’t dry your lips out and lasts all day. This is a peachy nude but be careful with the packaging as the colour on the packaging is different from the product itself. These are available online from Boots for £5.50.
