Hello lovely readers, it’s Elaine again. I hope you have enjoyed my last blogpost on a recent skincare haul and today I want to share with you all my current best face masks. Hope you like it!
I have tried so many different masks in the past (a complete mask junkie-guilty), and believe me when I say many I meant many, and there are 3 that I have been reaching for quite a lot lately and they are all very effective in terms of seeing result instantly. I am an impatient person (bad) and I can’t wait for a product to work over times so I’m more keen on products that I can see good results straight away and the ones I’m going to talk about today are definitely under that category so if you are like me you’ll dig them. I guarantee you!
First up it’s probably the best among the 3, well it’s the best of all the mud masks I have ever tried. Big statement ehh? Well it’s true. It worths all the hype and every little penny. Meet: GlamGlow Supermud Clearing Treatment.
I am hooked. As you can see I have already used half of it and I will definitely be purchasing a back up soon. It is pricy I’m not gonna lie but you know what… You pay what you get. This stuff smells lovely, super effective for problematic skin ie. blemish prone, oily skin, large pores, congested skin, rouge texture you name it. It’s good for all of that. It says to leave it on for 15 minutes but I always have it on for about half an hour. Remember if it’s your first time it’s better to leave it on within 15 minutes as you might not be able to “handle” the tingling or stinging feeling. I however love that. It doesn’t tingle as much as the GlamGlow Youthmud which I also adore. It’s much more gentler. I can’t say enough good things about this little miracle worker. You just have to try it. I love how my skin looks when I wake up in the morning–glowy, plumped, even, smooth and younger looking.
Next up is another mask that I can’t live without. It’s the Chamomile Concentrate Anti-Blemish Masque by Aesop. I have pretty normal skin I would say but sometimes these little red spots or blemishes just come out for no reason, and this mask is great for treating that. Like the Youthmud mask this is a mud mask as well and it hardens after 10 minutes. Again I leave it on for a lot longer than it says on the tin because I just feel like it works deeper in my skin that way and when I wash it off my skin looks as good as new. I don’t know how it would work for those of you who have severe acne prone skin but I’m sure it would tone down the redness and any inflammation. Seriously great stuff!
Last not certainly not least is my beloved Calendula Hydrating & Toning Mask by John Masters Organics. This is a straight up hydrating mask and what I really like about it is that it’s organic. It smells so lovely and feels very gentle on the skin. You can leave it on for as long as you like and your skin will feel silky smooth and hydrated afterwards. It’s very soothing as well. If you have been in the sun too long then put a layer of this on and it will tone down the redness and really soothes plus giving back any lost moisture. A big thumbs up!
That’s it guys. Hope you really enjoy my picks of some of the best face masks! What’s your “can’t-live-without” face mask at the moment? Let me know down below or tweet me. See you in a couple of weeks! Bye! X
