Hello everyone! This is my first post as a Student Beauty contributor, so I’ll introduce myself first! My name Katherine and I write the beauty and lifestyle blog ‘Katherine Rosie. I have been writing my blog for just over two years now and its my loveeee. I thought I would write a quick post about Soap and Glory’s Kickass Concealer, which can be purchased in Boots for £10.00.

I’ve used this concealer up until there is literally nothing left, and this only happens if I truly love a product. I was actually given this concealer by a friend (thank goodness, or I may have never tried it). It doesn’t massively appeal to me when concealers are cream based rather than liquid based, well it never did until now.

You get two different concealer shades and a translucent powder with one of those powder sponges (that no one really uses). The pinker tone is really good for sorting out those bags under your eyes as it completely colour corrects your skin. The more yellow based shade is actually perfect for highlighting, it honestly works so well for photographs and doesn’t give off a horrible flashback. Thats just a bonus, the shade both concealers imperfections and makes your skin seem that little bit extra glowy. I’m gutted that its run out as its my go to for topping of my highlight for a night out, but I’m definitely going to be re-purchasing it ASAP.

£10.00 may seem a little pricey for a drugstore concealer, however you do get two shades and a powder so really its three for the price of one. Having a translucent powder is always so much better than having a pigmented one, purely because you don’t want to cake powder over the top of an already layered face – it works perfectly!
